Cheers Aidan!
It was the RGT at the London College of Music. I think I may do another one, it’s useful to have something specific to learn, even if it’s not specifically something I’m into.
100% on learning in later life, I had no idea of the value of learning when I was young, I want to learn now, I’m invested in it.
I try to play everything I’m into; country, rock n’ roll, rock and metal alongside blues. I’m hoping to get to the point where I can borrow from one style for my playing, not quite there yet, but I’m getting there.
My main guitar is a MiM Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde, mostly because of Springsteen, but I love that country Tele twang!
I’m trying to master alternate bass picking at the moment, that Johny Cash style bassline, but it’s taking ages to get accurate and then fast enough!
