Great stuff Aidan! I’m happy you’re asking for input.
My suggestions are –
1. Please keep it easy. After all, we are relative beginners or we wouldn’t be here. No “Comfortably Numb” with its mind-blowing 2nd solo please (I can do the first solo!)
2. Please stick to one scale – the minor pentatonic. There must be thousands of songs and solos based on nothing but that scale.
3. K-I-S, – keep it simple. I’m sure between 1 and 8 notes per bar is lots!
Songs and solos – basic tunes like Sweet home Chicago, Stormy Monday, Tore Down, an easy version of Texas Flood.
Please try to put yourselves in our shoes. What will overwhelm us into clicking off?
