Hi there!
That empress paraEq with boost in an always on tool that helps me to shape the sound to be even with different amps. It functions as a parametric equalizer like some units find in studios and let you control the frequency in Q and amplitude.
Also the boost side is set to jump the Suhr Riot into solo mode, cool extra, but there is a version of the pedal with no boost side.
