Considering your setup, the Captor X is a great choice for dealing with IR’s. The Line6 option has the opportunity of doing that but also has a cab that is custom voiced for IR’s use.

So, if you plan to be more at home creating, the Captor X is a small and powerful tool. If you like to have the dynamics of a real cab in front of you, the Line6 Powercab is a very good option.

With both options, you will have the versatility of choosing which cabinet IR is your favorite, and you will also be able to switch anytime you want! 😃
