COURSE OVERVIEW
6 Beginner Blues Soloing Tips
All of the greatest blues guitarists follow a set of fundamental principles when they solo.
These define the sound of their lead playing, and account for the vocal, expressive and impactful nature of their solos.
This is not about the scales they use, or certain licks that they play – it’s about the less tangible elements which add that little touch of bluesy magic to their licks and phrases.
It can be harder to get to grips with these, especially when you are starting out.
You might feel comfortable playing the minor pentatonic scale and crafting a few licks, but perhaps there is something missing in your playing. Maybe it sounds a little robotic, stale or repetitive.
If this is the case, then you will love this course, where you’ll learn what these fundamental principles are, and how to apply them in your playing.

My story
I have played blues guitar for over 20 years and have loved blues music for just as long.
5 years ago – after getting complacent with my playing, I decided I wanted to push on and improve as a guitarist.
I started to document my journey and share tips on gear, practice and playing.
To my joy, that helped me turn into a full time Bluesman.
I have since gone on to work with hundreds of blues guitarists all over the world through the Blues Club and 1-2-1 coaching.
